Insurance & Storm Damage FAQ

Question 1

Will filing a roof insurance claim raise my rates?

Accepted Answer

In Texas, a single weather-related claim typically does not affect your rates the same way an at-fault claim does. The impact depends on your specific policy and carrier.

Question 2

What if my roof insurance claim was already denied?

Accepted Answer

Denials can often be appealed, especially if the initial inspection missed damage we can document. Contact us and we will review your situation honestly.

Question 3

How long does the roof insurance claim process take?

Accepted Answer

From inspection to installation, most claims move in 4 to 8 weeks depending on your carrier response time and material availability.

Question 4

Do I have to use Right Time Roofing after the free inspection?

Accepted Answer

No. Our free inspection comes with no obligation. You are welcome to take our damage report to any contractor.

Question 5

Does Texas law require me to pay my deductible?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Texas law prohibits contractors from waiving deductibles. Any company offering to waive your deductible is operating illegally.
